What we collect

• When you create an account or order: your name, email, phone number and delivery address.
• Your orders, subscriptions, digital downloads and wishlist.
• What you enter in the contact form, the submissions form and the newsletter sign-up.

Payments happen on Razorpay; your card, UPI and bank details never reach us.

Why we use it

To fulfil orders, deliver digital issues, run subscriptions, send emails about your orders and subscription, and answer your questions. The newsletter is sent only if you sign up, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share only what each service needs: the postal service or courier (for delivery), Razorpay (for payment) and our email provider.

Watermarks on digital issues

Every page of a purchased digital issue (PDF) carries the buyer's name, email and order number, to protect the writers' rights.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your cart and preferences (language, theme). If site analytics are switched on, they are counted without identifying you.

Security

The whole site runs over HTTPS and passwords are stored encrypted. We keep your information only as long as it is needed.

Your rights

You can see and correct your information, or ask us to delete your account, by writing to support@kathesar.org. You can leave the newsletter at any time.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date.
